9/22/26 | Tides of Modernity:: The History of Palestine Part: 1 | Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi

In this lecture, Shaykh Yasir Qadhi delivers a detailed and eye opening crash course on the history of Palestine from Ottoman times all the way to the creation of Israel in 1948. He breaks down the three contradictory promises that shaped the fate of Palestine, the Sykes-Picot Agreement, the McMahon-Hussein Correspondence, and the Balfour Declaration, and explains how these colonial deals made by foreign powers without consulting a single Palestinian set the stage for one of the greatest injustices of the modern world. A must watch for every Muslim who wants to understand the roots of the Palestinian cause and be able to speak about it with confidence and clarity.
