Two labs. One outbreak. And a lot of people who suddenly feel very unwell. In Episode 2 of the National STEM Championship (NSTEMC) 2026, the remaining teams leave the stage and head into the field. They step inside Health Sciences Authority/ Thermo Fisher Scientific, where precise measurement keeps healthcare testing trustworthy, and into the labs at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. There, the teams become a health investigation unit, running real lab tests to work out what made over 200 campers sick. The obvious suspect might not be the right one. Power cards are in play too, so a good plan can still get wrecked by bad luck. Featuring Health Sciences Authority, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
