First time in Panama City, and first trip with my mom! It is more Americanized and more expensiven than we thought. Most places accept USD American dollar. Our AirBnB is just outside Casco Viejo Old Town. It is a bit like the hood, but we feel safe the entire time. We tour the Old Town (Casco Viejo) , the financial district (Área Bancaria), and visited the Panama Canal. We also try traditional Panamaian food.
