PCOS and endometriosis can coexist

Description
Before you’re told your severe pelvic pain is ‘just PCOS/PMOS,’ ask for a two-part assessment: hormones and metabolism plus an endometriosis-focused evaluation.
PCOS /PMOS is diagnosed using a combination of ovulatory dysfunction, androgen excess and depending on age and context polycystic ovarian morphology or AMH, after other causes are excluded.
Endometriosis should be considered with symptoms such as debilitating period pain, chronic pelvic pain, deep pain during sex, bowel or urinary symptoms, or fertility difficulties-specialist ultrasound or MRI may help assess disease, particularly deep endometriosis.
And if there is neurodivergence there can be an added complexity with cognitive symptoms
