BRICS summit: Indian PM Modi says bloc has adopted joint declaration

Leaders of India and China are expected to meet on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi. It will be the third meeting between Xi Jinping and Narendra Modi in three years, as the neighbours work to rebuild ties, strained by a deadly border clash in 2020. The bloc has adopted a joint declaration at this years' gathering, calling for maximum restraint in the Middle East and reiterating commitment to peaceful resolution of international disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. It also calls on BRICS members to work together to maintain a smooth flow of global trade, supply chains and energy. Neha Poonia reports from New Delhi.
