PNP to update court on Romualdez’s condition

Criminal Investigation and Detection Group National Capital Region chief Police Colonel John Guiagui says they will return the warrant for former House speaker Martin Romualdez to the Sandiganbayan on Tuesday, September 8. This is a way for the police to inform the court that an accused has been arrested and that the warrant has been served. The CIDG will also submit a copy of Romualdez’s medical certificate since the lawmaker is still confined.
