Description
Hong Kong's pull as a global listing venue is on the rise. It has become one of the world's busiest venues for new share sales this year, due to improving investor sentiment and strong demand. Meanwhile, Shein's shares ended flat in Hong Kong on Sep 1, amid concerns that setbacks could undermine its competitive advantage. The company, headquartered in Singapore, raised about US$1.7 billion, valuing it at about US$26 billion, a quarter of its peak in 2022. Jeraldine Yap reports.
