11 Best Photo Spots in Petra, Jordan | Where to Get the Perfect Shot

Looking for the best photo spots in Petra, Jordan? We spent two days exploring Petra and found 11 of our favorite photography locations, from the famous Treasury viewpoints to some incredible spots around the Monastery. Before visiting Petra, I did a ton of research to figure out exactly where I wanted to shoot. In this video, we'll take you through Petra in order from the Visitor Center to the Monastery, showing you where to find each photo spot and the photos we captured there. We cover the famous Treasury reveal through the Siq, photos with the camels in front of the Treasury, the Treasury side ledge, two paid Treasury overlooks, tombs and viewpoints farther inside Petra, the amphitheater from above, and several of our favorite photography locations around the Monastery. We also share tips for avoiding the crowds, when to arrive, what we paid to access the Treasury viewpoints, and a few things we learned while photographing Petra. We entered Petra around sunrise both days, which made a huge difference for photography and gave us time at some of the most popular locations before the bigger crowds arrived.
