Description
Tilak Singh shares his son Ritek Kumar Singh’s journey with thalassemia and successful treatment at Narayana Health. Diagnosed at around one and a half years of age, Ritek required regular blood transfusions before an HLA matching camp identified a 100% donor match.
With the guidance of Dr. Sunil Bhat, support from Narayana Health and Maa Seva Samiti Trust, and assistance from government initiatives, Ritek completed his treatment and is now healthy. His brother, Roshan Kumar Singh, was the donor and is also doing well. Ritek no longer requires regular blood transfusions and is preparing to return home.
