Meet the Visualist: Bahia Shehab MA ’09

Meet Bahia Shehab (MA ’09) — The Visualist. A professor of graphic design, Bahia doesn’t just teach her students design, she shapes how it is understood, remembered and lived. Her work bridges academia, the street and the archives, giving visual form to Arab history, identity and resistance. Driven by grit, heritage and the power of art to spark dialogue. What is it that drives you? AUC Driven by Excellence. Every Day. #AUCDriven2026
