The 10 Commandments Are for Sale

Sotheby's is auctioning off an ancient stone tablet inscribed with the Ten Commandments, estimated to be about 3000 years old. The auction house describes the 115-pound artifact as "An extraordinary treasure from antiquity, inscribed with the moral code that underpins Western civilization." It's expected to fetch over a million dollars at the gavel. Visitors to Sotheby's in New York can see it for themselves, starting December 5.
