Lawlessness In Punjab Under Lens: Shootings In Moga & Amritsar Spark Safety Concerns Ahead Of Polls

Concerns over law and order in Punjab are mounting ahead of the assembly elections following two separate shooting incidents in Moga and Amritsar. In Moga, armed men travelling in a black SUV opened fire on people sitting outside a shop, resulting in the death of two family members and injuries to several others. Police suspect an old rivalry may have triggered the attack. Meanwhile, in Amritsar's Behtha village, unidentified individuals fired multiple rounds at a gym late at night following extortion threats allegedly sent from foreign numbers to the gym owner. Authorities have seized CCTV footage and launched an investigation. The shootings have intensified scrutiny over public safety, illegal cross-border weapon smuggling via drones, and extortion rackets, with political parties actively sparring over rising crime and the persistent drug crisis in the state. #PunjabElections #PunjabNews #LawAndOrder #itwebvideos #Punjab #MogaShooting #Amritsar #CrimeNews #PunjabPolice #Extortion #GunViolence #PublicSafety #BreakingNews #PunjabPolitics #DrugMenace #IndiaToday Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
