Funding shortages force WFP to cut food aid in Gaza

The UN World Food Programme (WFP) has announced it’s cutting critical food assistance to more than 500,000 people in Gaza amid a shortage in funding. The agency is the largest provider of humanitarian food assistance in Gaza and supports around 1.6 million people each month. Twelve months since the US-brokered ceasefire, the WFP says “now is not the time to look away” as life in Gaza remains “absolutely brutal”. For more news: https://bit.ly/3qBhrgi
