WFP Warns Gaza Food Aid Cuts Could Affect Half a Million People

Claire Nevill, Head of Communications at the World Food Programme in Palestine, spoke to CGTN Europe about cuts to WFP food assistance in Gaza caused by funding shortages. She said the reductions could affect around half a million people receiving support. Nevill stressed that food assistance remains a critical lifeline for people in Gaza, with little sign of a meaningful recovery in food security. She warned that the cuts come at a particularly difficult time as winter approaches and the conflict continues.
