Peanut Butter is NOT a Thai Ingredient

PSA: Peanut butter is not a Thai ingredient. I want to add that if you have seen Thai restaurants in the West use peanut butter in their sauce, they're using it as a shortcut, because roasting and grinding peanuts from scratch is a lot of work. Also, if you ever see Thai restaurants serve salad rolls with peanut sauce, that's not a Thai dish, it's Vietnamese. But it's something many Thai places like to offer because it sells well.
