Houthi Attacks in Saudi Arabia: Air India, IndiGo Cancel Flights; Passengers Offered Full Refunds

Air India and IndiGo have suspended all flights to Saudi Arabia until 17th October 2026 amid an evolving security situation following Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabian territory that caused casualties, including to an Indian national. Air India has halted all operations to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam, citing passenger and crew safety as its highest priority. IndiGo has similarly announced cancellations for routes connecting Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, and Medina. Both carriers have initiated measures for affected travellers, providing choices between rescheduling travel dates or claiming a complete refund. Aviation operations to the Middle East remain recalibrated in response to advisories from Indian and international security agencies assessing regional airspace conditions. The airlines will evaluate further developments after 17th October before deciding on the resumption of commercial flight services. #AirIndia #IndiGo #SaudiArabia #itwebvideos #MiddleEast #FlightCancellations #AviationNews #TravelAdvisory #Riyadh #Jeddah #Dammam #Medina #WestAsia #AviationUpdate #TravelNews #IndiaToday Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
