The Middle East Monitor

In this episode of MEMO Conversations, we speak with Pulitzer Prize-winning author Benjamin Moser about his book Anti-Zionism: A Jewish History. We explore one of the book’s central arguments: Jewish opposition to Zionism has a long history, yet many of the people who voiced it have been written out of the story. We also discuss the history of Arab Jews and what it reveals about the idea that Jews and Arab have always been in conflict. Our conversation asks what this history can teach us at a time when opposition to Zionism is often conflated with anti-Semitism.
