Rahul Gandhi's 'Chalo Dilli' Call, INDIA Bloc Rally & CEC Public Impeachment Plan
Details
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has issued a 'Chalo Dilli' call ahead of the INDIA bloc's rally at Ramlila Maidan, rallying support against alleged vote theft and the SIR process. Rahul Gandhi urged citizens and student bodies across political lines to join the protest to protect the Constitution. In addition to the march, the opposition has planned a mock public impeachment of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's residence, presided over by former Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar. Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party has countered with its own rallies, questioning the timing of the demonstration.
