A major political controversy has broken out following Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's controversial remarks during a public meeting in Patna. Responding to an audience member who asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not go anywhere, Kharge made remarks referring to the Prime Minister's parents. The comments triggered sharp backlash from the Bharatiya Janata Party, which accused the Congress chief of lowering public discourse and hurting the sentiments of millions. Demanding an apology, BJP workers launched widespread demonstrations across major cities including Patna, Delhi, Lucknow, Jammu, and Bengaluru, with a police complaint also being lodged against the Congress president. Meanwhile, the Congress defended its leadership, rejecting the demand for an apology and accusing the BJP of having a history of making personal remarks against opposition leaders and their families. The escalating war of words has renewed debate on decorum and standards in contemporary political discourse. #MallikarjunKharge #PMModi #BJPProtest #itwebvideos #NarendraModi #BJP #Congress #Patna #IndianPolitics #IndiaToday #BreakingNews #PoliticalWar #CongressVsBJP #Delhi #PoliticsToday #NationalNews #PublicDiscourse Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
