Asian Games gold medallists Kiran, Prachi, and Navneet reflected on their historic victories and personal journeys at a special panel. Relay runners Kiran and Prachi, alongside teammates Vidya and Poovamma, reclaimed gold in the women's 4x400 metre relay, edging out China. Prachi shared how the team united from different states as one India, determined to raise the tricolour and play the national anthem. She also recalled having her police uniform measurements taken in anticipation of a deputy superintendent post pledged for gold winners. Kiran recounted her journey overcoming social discouragement and financial hardship by working shifts at a store to fund her athletics training. Indian women's hockey vice-captain Navneet highlighted the team's decisive gold victory against higher-ranked China, which confirmed qualification for the Los Angeles Olympics following the heartbreak of missing Paris. Navneet also made an appeal for sponsors to revive the Women's Hockey League. #AsianGames #GoldMedal #WomenInSports #itwebvideos #TeamIndia #NariShakti #IndianAthletics #WomensHockey #RoadToLA #RelayGold #IndianSports #HockeyIndia #Champions #NationalPride #IndianAthletes #InspiringStories Subscribe to India Today for NEW VIDEOS EVERY DAY and make sure to enable Push Notifications so you'll never miss a new video.
