Tamil Nadu Raids: Anti-Corruption Crackdown Or Political Vendetta Against DMK Leaders?
Details
A debate on India Today examines the legal and political controversy surrounding corruption probes and raids against Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leaders KN Nehru and Anbil Mahesh. Political analyst Sushil Rajkumar accuses the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam government and Chief Minister Vijay of diversionary tactics and political vendetta, arguing that the administration is deflecting attention away from serious law and order failures in the state. Rejecting these charges, TVK national spokesperson Sathya Kumar maintains that investigative agencies and state police are strictly following due process based on orders from the Madras High Court and an Enforcement Directorate dossier.
