Dera Sacha Sauda chief and rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh has once again walked out of Rohtak’s Sunaria Jail on a 21-day furlough, marking his 17th temporary release from prison. His latest release has reignited a political debate in Punjab over the Dera Sacha Sauda’s electoral influence, with the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections approaching. SGPC members have questioned the alleged preferential treatment given to Ram Rahim, while raising the issue of Sikh prisoners who have remained incarcerated despite completing their sentences. #RamRahim #GurmeetRamRahim #DeraSachaSauda #RamRahimFurlough #PunjabPolitics #PunjabElections #Punjab2027 #SGPC #SikhPrisoners #BandiSinghs #AAP #BJP #SAD #VoteBankPolitics #Parole #Furlough #PunjabNews #PoliticalRow #NDTVDigitalOriginals $MetaTags$1#Digital Original2#News4#Apurva Adhikari5#Faisal Kidwai$MetaTags$ About NDTV (English news channel): NDTV is India's Most-Trusted News Broadcaster with the latest updates in news, sports, entertainment and much more from within India and around the world.
