What began as persistent difficulty swallowing was later diagnosed as Stage III Base of Tongue Cancer. After consulting local doctors, Mr. Bimal Chandra Duley from Singur sought treatment at Manipal Hospitals Dhakuria under Dr. Soumen Basu, Senior Consultant – Radiation Oncology.

A multidisciplinary team planned his treatment with 35 sessions of radiation therapy, along with weekly chemotherapy and targeted therapy. Today, more than 2.5–3 years later, he is doing well.
