Monsoon can be fun, but constantly damp skin, wet clothes, and soggy footwear can leave your skin more vulnerable to infections.

The good news? 
A few simple habits can help keep your skin healthy through the season.

After getting drenched, change out of wet clothes as soon as you can. Dry yourself properly after a bath, especially around skin folds, and try to keep your feet dry. Carrying an extra pair of clothes and footwear can also come in handy when you’re out.

And if you notice a skin infection, don’t reach for steroid creams or self-medicate. Get it checked by a dermatologist instead.

A little care can go a long way in keeping your skin comfortable this monsoon.
