Dame Vivienne Westwood worked alongside King’s alumnus and academic dress expert, Father Philip Goff, to create a distinctive palette, with each colour representing a different King's faculty. One of Westwood’s own choices was lilac for Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care, reflecting her personal connection to the profession.
