Remember Black Rock Fish Head Steamboat at Kaki Bukit, which I wrote about last year? Well, they have since moved to Kallang Bahru and rebranded as Gold Rock Fish Head Steamboat.

These are friends of mine, and I have been working with them to develop some exciting new dishes. One of them is a Soy Milk and Miso soup base for your fish head steamboat. It is robust, creamy and umami-rich, reminiscent of a Japanese-style steamboat. They also have a talented new chef who has come up with several zi char dishes that are well worth checking out.
