Description

In March, the life of Philip Pohle, a facilities worker for Ohio Dept. of Natural Resources, changed forever after he was internally decapitated when a tree he was moving fell on him and his tractor. As his coworkers rushed to his rescue and police closed down the highway, Philip sat on his tractor conscious but motionless as paramedics arrived to take him to the hospital where he was cared for by neurosurgeon Dr. Victor Awuor. Now, Philip and his partner, as well as the doctor that saved his life, speak to Inside Edition Digital about his grueling ordeal and recovery.
