After Love Island USA season seven’s Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway confirmed their breakup in July, she shared insight into what caused the split. "One of the things that I was asking him to fix: Taylor is super nice, super friendly," she explained to fellow Islander Kaylor Martin during the Sept. 20 episode of the Kaylor's Crash Outs podcast. “In a relationship, I run a strict program. I don't play that." So when rumors first began that Williams had been unfaithful, with her even receiving a DM about him out with a female acquaintance, she ignored the speculation. However, that changed when a video began circulating of Williams, 26, speaking to another woman in close proximity. "I ignored the DMs. I asked him about it. 'It's cool, whatever,'" she recounted. "But to see the video come out, I'm here seeing it for the first time with everyone else." Indeed, Carraway said her partner's friendliness with the opposite sex made her uncomfortable, and it is what ultimately led to their separation. "If there's any questioning in any sort of relationship, whether that's platonic or romantic,” she emphasized. "I don't think that God would send someone my way, whether it's a friend or someone I'm talking to, that I would question."
