A cockroach may have crashed the live shot, but it never rattled the reporter! KTLA reporter Rachel Menitoff is going viral after an unexpected on-air visitor landed on her neck during a live report about the Los Angeles heat wave. While delivering her segment, a cockroach made itself comfortable on the reporter’s shoulder area, but Menitoff stayed remarkably calm, never breaking her focus or interrupting the broadcast. The now-viral clip shows Menitoff powering through the report like a true professional, waiting until the live shot was over before reacting and shaking off the uninvited guest. Her composure has earned widespread praise across social media, with viewers applauding her dedication and ability to stay cool under pressure. Menitoff later revealed that she knew the bug was on her the entire time but chose to stay focused on finishing the story rather than reacting in the moment.
