Ten police officers of the Special Intervention Squad have been killed in an encounter with suspected bandits in Kebbi State. At a memorial parade in Abuja, Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu reaffirmed the Nigerian Police Force's commitment to confronting banditry and other violent crimes, saying the officers paid the supreme price while engaging heavily armed attackers in Sakaba Local Government Area, Kebbi State.
