Details

Description

Amid concerns over haze, Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu on Saturday (Oct 10) outlined various contingency plans in place for Singaporeans.

"We are on top of situation. The Haze Task Force, has been meeting regularly. We have sufficient stock of the N95 mask, and will be prepared to deploy when necessary," she said.

When the 24-hour PSI breaches 200, Singapore will activate the mask-distribution exercise. It will also activate air-conditioned haze shelters in the community.

"We are very concerned about public health, and therefore we have contingency plans according to the PSI levels," she said.
