Description

You don't need to speak the language to be captivated by Hanggai's music. The Chinese folk-rock band blends powerful vocals, traditional instruments and rock energy into a sound all its own. This summer, Hanggai returns to Lincoln center, bringing the beautiful melodies of the Inner Mongolian Steppe to New York. The band members share their expectations – and the stories behind their music – with CGTN.
