Jodie Turner-Smith is speaking out for the first time following her split from Joshua Jackson. The actress opened up to The Sunday Times in an interview on Feb. 25 after their divorce went public in Oct. "Sometimes things we really want to work just don't end up working. And that's OK. The most important thing is that you choose what's healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children," she said. Jodie continued sharing the reason why she decided to file for divorce from the "Dawson's Creek" alum. The former couple started dating in 2018 and tied the knot that following year in Aug., before welcoming their daughter in Apr. 2020. Jodie ended by noting that their breakup is bringing out positive opportunities for both she and Joshua in their futures. "I don't think it's a failure. We obviously had such a beautiful moment together. And now it's time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting," she exclaimed. "The Mighty Ducks" star has not spoken out since the split. » SUBSCRIBE: https://bit.ly/SubscribeToAccess » Visit Our Website: http://accessonline.com Get More Access : Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/accesshollywood/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/accesshollywood Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/accesshollywood/
