Where Was Ben Affleck As Jennifer Lopez Filed For Divorce?
Details
As Jennifer Lopez was gearing up to file for divorce from Ben Affleck in Los Angeles on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage, the "Argo" director was nowhere close by. In fact, Ben was on the east coast returning to California from a different milestone: moving his eldest daughter, Violet, whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner, into college at Yale University. The actor was photographed alongside his ex-wife and two daughters over the weekend as they helped Violet get set up for her freshman year, flying back from Connecticut and landing on the west coast hours before JLo filed. Meanwhile, back in L.A., a source told Access Hollywood that the "Let's Get Loud” singer filed herself without a lawyer and that the pair did not have a prenup. Jlo’s filing comes after months of speculation that the couple was facing tensions in their marriage, with a source telling Access Hollywood in May that the two were living separately. More than a month later in June, People reported that Ben had moved his things out of the couple’s shared mansion in Beverly Hills, which they purchased in 2023. That home is now publicly listed for $68 million. Access Hollywood has reached out to Jennifer and Ben’s teams for comment.
