Oprah Winfrey is celebrating Gayle King on her milestone birthday! On Friday, Dec. 13, the talk show host threw a surprise 70th birthday party for her best friend and CBS Mornings anchor in New York City. In footage uploaded to social media, Winfrey walked into the venue with King who appeared stunned to see the crowd. Later, the media mogul gave a heartfelt speech for her friend of nearly 50 years, highlighting many of King’s accomplishments. “There’s nobody in the world like Gayle King. Next year marks a half a century that we have been friends. And in all those years there’s never been an argument, a disruption, or any kind of jealousy or bad feelings - in 50 years that has not happened!” Winfrey gushed in part, adding, “In 50 years, we have been in sync in each other’s corner supportive of one another. Looking forward to the best that could happen for each other.” King turns 70 on Dec. 28. 0:00 - A Surprise Celebration Begins 0:44 - Gayle's Shocked Entrance 2:00 - Oprah's Heartfelt Speech 3:05 - Gayle's Grateful Response 3:55 - Star-Studded Birthday Bash » SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiKGMZZmZXK-RpbKJGXgH3Q?sub_confirmation=1 » Visit Our Website: http://accessonline.com Get More Access : Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/accesshollywood/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/accesshollywood Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/accesshollywood/ #AccessHollywood #oprah #gayleking "Access Hollywood" is an entertainment news show featuring Mario Lopez, Kit Hoover, Scott Evans, and correspondent Zuri Hall.
